Crack for the ATS X10001P device Username/password for the device default to root/test. Sorry, their interface stinks, so I've whipped up a Perl CGI script to let you see all the various configuration pages. Once you're logged into the device, you then can access several of the configuration pages. My recommendation is to set the following: 1. On the WAN page, set the LAN to bridged mode. This will allow you to chain another phone to the LAN port on the device. 2. On the SIP page, set the first Realm active and edit the parameters. You'll need to set both the Domain Server and the Proxy Server to the same IP, to make the device work with Asterisk. 3. On the DTMF page, set your preferred method of sending DTMF. 4. Finally, use the Save/Reboot page to reset the device. If you've set up everything correctly in both the device and your Asterisk server, you should see the REG light blink several times, then go off for 5 seconds, then stay lit. Additional notes: 1. The SNTP settings do not actually change the handset time. To get the handset to display the correct time, send a call to the device and let it ring at least twice. 2. Although I've provided a link to a firmware image, I would not recommend trying to reflash the internal drive. My only attempt to do so has resulted in a nonfunctional device. 3. SIP/Other contains the re-registration timeout. I've found the default 300 seconds (5 minutes) to be a little low, so I've set mine to 3600 (1 hour). Note that the field is prefixed with two spaces and is length limited, so you may need to remove a space or two to set a longer timeout. 4. Read the manual that comes with the device. There are a lot of features that I haven't tried, although I have matched handsets to multiple bases and bases to multiple handsets. -Tilghman 2007-08-31 ATS-X10001P-crack v.0.03
